Downey HS: Named All-San Gabriel Valley League as a fullback his junior and senior years… Earned all-league honors as a sophomore… Spent three years on the football and wrestling teams… As a senior, he placed fifth at the State Championships after coming in second place at the Masters Meet and CIF Championships… Named 2^nd Team All-CIF… Helped his team win the Dual Meet Championship as a junior and sophomore, while he finished second at the Masters Meet after winning the CIF championship his junior year and won the league championship as a sophomore… Also played on the lacrosse team…..
