Cerritos Football (2010): Received a medical red-shirt after getting injured early in the season… Prior to his injury, he record four tackles and picked off a pass against Long Beach City College and returned it 28 yards…

Dominguez HS: Was a two-time All-San Gabriel Valley League selection as a linebacker… Voted his team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior… Spent three seasons on the football team and two seasons on the track and field team…..
