La Mirada HS: Named All-CIF, All-Area and 1st Team All-Suburban League as a senior after passing for over 2,500 yards and rushing for over 400 yards… Led the team to the league championship… Accounted for 2,000 passing and 700 rushing yards as a junior to earn All-Area and all-league honors, as well as being named his team’s Most Valuable Player… Passed and rushed for over 1,000 yards his sophomore season, which garnered him All-Area and all-league recognition, as well as his team’s MVP award… Was a member of the varsity team as a freshman when they won the league title… Competed on the football and track and field teams for four years…..
