Began his high school career at Whittier Christian High and was a 1st Team All-Olympic League choice as a junior after leading the league with 82 catches for 1,275 yards and 12 TDs…Also played on defense and posted 90 tackles and six quarterback sacks… Caught 53 passes for 592 yards and six scores as a sophomore… Was coached at Villa Park by former Cerritos player Dusan Ancich… Was a member of the football, basketball and soccer teams…..
