Long Beach Wilson HS: Ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished seventh at the state meet with a time of 3:16.10 and broke the school record… Also competed in the 100 meters (11.67) and 200 meters (22.4)… Named team’s Most Improved Athlete as a junior… Was a member of the basketball team for two seasons and was voted their Most Valuable Player both years… Named their Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore…..
