Cerritos HS: Named 1st Team All-CIF, 605 League Most Valuable Player and 1st Team all-league as a senior… While on the swimming team, he posted a personal best time of 56.0 in the 100-yard freestyle… Was coached by former Cerritos assistant coach Paul Park… Spent four seasons on the water polo and swimming teams…..
Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored six goals in a CIF quarterfinal playoff game against Esperanza High… Would like to transfer to UC San Diego and aspires to be a firefighter… Hobbies include body surfing and spending time with his family… Nicknamed “Joey”… Has two siblings – Kobe (18) and Easton (8)… Is the son of Joey and Natalie Hurtado… Born in Artesia, CA on February 1, 2001…..
