Whittier HS: Was a two-time All-CIF and 1st Team All-Del Rio League selection, while he was voted the Del Rio League Most Valuable Player as a senior… Finished the season with 138 goals, 56 assists, 54 steals and 71 drawn ejections… Voted his team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player… Earned 2nd Team all-league recognition as a sophomore… Was coached by his father as a senior… While on the swimming team, he competed in the 50-yard freestyle (23.80) and 100-yard freestyle (54.10)… Spent four years on the water polo and swimming teams…..
