Cerritos College Track & Field (2013): Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the 800 meters (1:55.94) after coming in second place at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 400 meters (50.45) and 1500 meters (4:13.18) during the season…..
Huntington Park HS: Voted his cross country team’ Most Valuable Player as a junior… Named the Eastern League Most Valuable Player as a senior after winning the league championship and LA City Section championship in the 800 meters (1:54) on the track team… Qualified for the State Prelims and posted a personal best time of 1:53… Helped the team win the league title… Won the league championship in the 200 meters and ran a leg of the 400-meter relay team as a sophomore, while coming in second place in the 100 meters and third as a member of the 1600-meter relay team… Was a member of the cross country team for two seasons, the track and field team for three years and the soccer team for four years…..
