Norwalk HS: Recorded a personal best time of 16:47 over a 5K course his senior season… Helped the team win the Mid-Cities League championship as a junior… Voted the team’s Most Improved Runner his sophomore season… While on the track and field team, he competed in the 800 meters (2:13), 1600 meters (4:56) and 3200 meters (10:56)… Spent four seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Is working on a minor in Liberal Studies… Most memorable moments were when he posted his personal best time in the league championships and when he stayed with the team pack for two miles at an invitational… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a counselor… His father was on the cross country and track and field teams in high school… Hobbies include gaming, cooking and gardening… Has one brother – Orlando (15)… Is the son of Gonzalo and Marcola Lopez… Born in Bellflower, CA on May 22, 2007…..
