Downey HS: Was a member of the Suburban Valley League championship team as a senior and sophomore… Posted a personal best time of 15:46 at the CIF Championships as a senior… While on the track and field team, he was a member of three straight league championship teams… Competed in the 1600 meters (4:32) and 1600 meters (9:45)… Spent three seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..
