Entering her first season as a member of the Cerritos College women’s basketball coaching staff, Kelly Santos Mullen has an impressive playing resume. As a member of the Brazilian National Team, Santos Mullen competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, where she and her team won a bronze medal.

During her playing career, Santos Mullen also played in six World Championship games, which included Brazil earning the silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, as well as a bronze medal at Santo Domingo.

Santos Mullen was drafted in the 4th Round of the 2001 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock, where she played for them from 2001-02 and averaged 3.7 points and 2.7 rebounds a game. After playing internationally, she signed with the Seattle Storm in 2008 and averaged 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds, while helping them advance to the playoffs.

Santos Mullen earned a Master’s degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas (Brazil), as well as a Bachelor’s degree from First Americans’ Educational Leadership in Human Resources.

Santos Mulllen, 46, is single and resides in Bellflower.
