Santa Fe HS: Came in third place at the CIF Championships at 120 pounds as a senior and finished with a 42-7 record, while he finished in sixth place as a junior… While on the water polo team as a freshman, his team reached the CIF Quarterfinals… Spent four seasons on the wrestling, while he was also on the water polo, swimming and soccer teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he qualified for the Masters Meet as a senior and as a CIF Qualifier both years… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton and aspires to be a nurse and MMA fighter… Hobbies include photography, music, MMA and spending time with his dog Oso… Nicknamed “Ricky”… Has four siblings – Melanie (15), Maikayla (13), Raymond (12) and Miranda (6)… Is the son of Ricardo and Melissa Rodriguez… Born in Whittier, CA on July 21, 2007…..
