Garfield HS: Won the Eastern League championship in the triple jump (28’ 9”) as a senior, while the team won the league title her junior, sophomore and freshman years… Spent four seasons on the track and field team and two years on the cross country team… Placed seventh at the league finals her sophomore year…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she ran her first 4x400-meter relay race… Is working on a minor in nutrition… Aspires to be an athletic trainer for a major league baseball team… Hobbies include reading, writing, eating and going on adventures… Has two siblings – Laura (17) and Gabriela (13)… Nicknamed “Jessica Alba”… Is the daughter of Pedro and Zoyla Lazo… Born in East Los Angeles, CA on March 1, 1993…..
