Cerritos College Track and Field (2015): Was a member of the Falcons CCCAA State Championship team… Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the discus (34.44 meters), shot put (10.17 meters) and hammer (35.86 meters)… Took ninth place at the Southern California Championships in the discus… Came in fifth place in the discus at the South Coast Conference Championships, while she placed fourth in the shot put and hammer… Also competed in the javelin (28.10) meters…..

Downey HS: Spent four years on the track and field team and water polo teams… Specialized in the discus (124’ 5”) and shot put (28’)… Helped the track team win the San Gabriel Valley League title as a junior…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she turned in her personal best distance in the discus against Lynwood High… Hobbies include throwing and lifting weights… Has four siblings – JR (29), Ashley (27), Mindy (23) and Andrew (21)… Is the daughter of Richardo and Maria Yanez… Born on February 2, 1996…..
