Downey HS: Helped his team win the CIF Championship as a senior and was also named 1st Team All-CIF and 1st Team All-San Gabriel Valley League… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… While on the swimming team, he competed in the 50-yard freestyle (25.0), 100-yard freestyle (55.0), 200-yard freestyle (1:59.0) and 500-yard freestyle (5:20.0)… Spent four seasons on the water polo and swimming teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored five goals against Redlands High… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach… Hobbies include playing water polo, playing soccer and video games… Nicknamed “Gohan”… Has one sibling – Santigo (1)… Is the son of Juan and Sendy Gayton…..
